Bionic Commando Rearmed 1 (Playstation 3) review

As someone who didn’t play the first Bionic Commando game on NES, I must thank Capcom for making it more accessible in the form of a downloadable remake titled as Bionic Commando Rearmed.

Story mode has you take control of Nathan Spencer, a soldier who uses a bionic arm for grappling, solving puzzles, and fights the Imperials while struggling to rescue Super Joe. Using an overworld-style map, you will descend to levels (known in-game as Areas) by a helicopter. Boss battles are redesigned to specify usage of Nathan’s bionic arm and variety of other weapons

There’s a redesigned health system, new points system, and for the first time, minigames in the form of Challenge Rooms; there’s a multi-player mode where you can choose from a variety of characters beside Nathan Spencer.

This game is a praiseworthy choice for being played irrespective of your experience playing Action-Platformer games.
